How to find the Cheshire Cat’s Mini Tree in Disney Dreamlight Valley

A small picture for an even smaller tree.

The Cheshire Cat in Disney Dreamlight Valley loves giving you complex riddles and puzzles to confuse and toy with you. While most are relatively simple to solve, finding where his Mini Tree is during his introductory quest is another matter entirely.

What is a Mini Tree? And why does he need a mini one rather than a normal-sized tree? The Cheshire Cat won’t tell you, but that won’t impact anything. Instead, our goal is to look around our Disney Dreamlight Valley in search of this tree in hopes of inviting the Cheshire Cat to our village.

Cheshire Cat Mini Tree location in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You’ll find the Cheshire Cat’s Mini Tree inside Alice’s house. Starting from her front door, head forward and turn right to enter her bedroom. On your right, you’ll spot a bookshelf and a red nightstand, with the Mini Tree painting nestled between the two on the wall. Take a picture of this image to progress through the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest.

Once you take a picture of the mini tree painting, an item version will fall to the floor for you to pick up. With the tree in hand, return to the Cheshire Cat to talk about it. Your character will realize he won’t fit in such a small tree, but that’s a problem he has already accounted for. He’ll give you a riddle that translates to placing it somewhere in your village.

Now that you have the Mini Tree and a solution from the Cheshire Cat, head out into your village and place it wherever you wish. The biome you pick is entirely up to you. Unlike most houses, you won’t have to pay any Scrooge McDuck construction fees for this one. Instead, placing it down will automatically cause the Cheshire Cat to appear there, letting you speak to him to conclude the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest and begin his Friendship missions.
