If you haven’t seen this Easter egg yet, it’s a fun one to venture out to find. He’s not super easy to spot, but it’s much easier to find him once you know where to look. If you want to catch a glimpse of him, here’s how to find Slenderman in Phasmophobia.

Slenderman can sometimes be found out in the woods around certain maps in Phasmophobia. He’s not always present but does make an appearance occasionally. If you want to spot him, you need to venture to one of two unique locations.

All Slenderman locations in Phasmophobia

Slenderman only shows up at two specific maps in Phasmophobia, which include the two camp-themed maps. You only have a shot at finding him when you’re outside exploring Maple Lodge Campsite and Camp Woodwind.

Around each of these maps, there are several different spots where you may find him.

  • Maple Lodge Campsite
    • On the outskirts of the map, around the truck, before you enter the map.
    • Behind the fence with the Blair Witch twig doll near the west end of the map.
    • Behind the purple tent near the northwest end of the map.
    • By the picnic tables near the northeast end of the map.
    • In the woods close to the cabin, near the northeast end of the map.
  • Camp Woodwind
    • On the outskirts of the map, on the left side of the truck.
    • Near the very northern end of the map, standing out in the rocky area with fireflies in front of the wooden bench.
    • In the small crack between the bathroom and the white tent near the east end of the map.

Around all of these locations, Slenderman appears fairly far off in the distance in the forest. He’ll never be close to you, so be sure to scan the entire forest area carefully to avoid missing him. Depending on the weather, he can blend in with the environment quite well.

How to spawn Slenderman in Phasmophobia

There is no way to force Slenderman to spawn. Whether or not he appears in each contract is entirely random. He has a random chance to spawn in all contracts you tackle on Maple Lodge Campsite and Camp Woodwind, regardless of whether you’re playing the weekly challenge mode or something else, so the only way you can increase your chances of running into him is by repeatedly visiting these locations.

What does Slenderman do in Phasmophobia?

Slenderman doesn’t do anything in Phasmophobia. He just stands there and stares at you for the entire round. He’s a static Easter egg who is just there as a fun reference and nothing more, so you don’t need to worry about him scaring or attacking you.

Once you’ve found Slenderman, you can get back to tackling the investigation. To do so, you may need to know how to record audio and video evidence, how the Sound Recorder works, and how to use the Music Box.
