How to find Purple Eggs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Make sure to look everywhere for them.

Disney Dreamlight Valley loves its Easter-themed spring events, and you can always count on the Eggstravaganza event to deliver on the rewards and furniture. You do need to put in a bit of legwork to actually earn them, though, and that’s where we come in.

The Purple Spring Eggs will only be available in Disney Dreamlight Valley while the Eggstravaganza event is active. Once the event is over, you’ll no longer be able to collect them. In addition to that, Purple Spring Eggs can only be found in the following regions and locations:

RealmLocation
Moana RealmSpawn location
Toy Story RealmSpawn location
Toy house
The Lion King RealmSpawn location
Outside the cave
Beauty and the Beast RealmCastle
Library
Beast’s room
Courtyard
Mulan RealmSpawn location
Around the bamboo trees

To make things a little trickier, only a maximum of 10 Purple Spring Eggs will spawn across these five regions, which means that you may have to go Realm-hopping a little bit if you’re trying to farm them. Once you’ve collected them, they’ll be added to your inventory, and they can be used for crafting or just general display.

From my experience, the best Realms for farming the Eggs have been the Moana Realm and the Toy Story Realm, as they are much smaller and easier to cover than the rest (meaning the Mulan Realm, for example, is not time-efficient at all).

Do the Purple Spring Eggs respawn?

Purple Spring Eggs will respawn every five minutes. This means that after you collect one, it’ll respawn in a random location across the five Realms in another five minutes. There can only be a maximum of 10 Eggs in-game at any point in time.

If you haven’t gathered them in a while, it may be worth collecting all 10 and then waiting for them to respawn before farming them all over again.

While you could display the Purple Spring Eggs themselves (which isn’t a bad idea if you like that aesthetic), you might also want to consider using them to craft other Easter-themed furniture items. Here are all the crafting recipes that require the Purple Spring Eggs:

When does the Eggstravaganza event end?

The Eggstravaganza event in Disney Dreamlight Valley will run from April 2 to April 22. This means you have three weeks to gather all the materials you need to craft the furniture items and grab all the relevant rewards.

The good news is that the event quests aren’t hard to complete, and farming the Eggs isn’t too time-consuming once you know which Realms they spawn in. Even if you don’t get everything you need from the event, rest assured that it’ll run again next year, giving you another shot to grab the things you missed.
