How to find Cheshire Paw Prints in Disney Dreamlight Valley

He's left some prints all over the valley.

The Cheshire Cat is always causing trouble in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and his latest antics involve leaving paw prints around the village for you to clean up. They’re decently tough to find, though, so you may need some help tracking down Cheshire Paw Prints.

Finding and removing these pesky prints is one of the main event tasks, so you need to get to work clearing away as many as you can find. Here’s how to find Cheshire Paw Prints in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where do Cheshire Paw Prints spawn for the Cheshire Chaos event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Cheshire Paw Prints only spawn inside three specific Realms in DDV. They also spawn in a certain order, so you have to work your way through three different Realms in the right order to find all of them.

All of these prints appear as a collection of small, vibrant marks on the ground. They blend in with the environment decently well since they’re fairly small, so be sure you’re scanning each Realm carefully to find all of them. Check behind all furniture and objects in each Realm to make sure you don’t miss any.

There are three Realms you can visit to find Cheshire Paw Prints:

RealmAmountEvent dutyReward
Toy Story Realm20 Cheshire Paw PrintsClean Your Room!Rabbit Rocking Chair
The Lion King Realm20 Cheshire Paw PrintsJungle BunglesRabbit Vanity
Aladdin Realm20 Cheshire Paw PrintsMore Than a MirageRabbit Grandfather Clock

You can find Cheshire Paw Prints in these Realms at any time, but only five can be present in each one at once. It can be pretty tough to know where to look because of this. If you haven’t searched any of the Realms yet, I recommend starting with Toy Story, then going to The Lion King, and ending with Aladdin.

Each Realm progressively gets bigger if you tackle them in this order. It’s best to hunt around them using this method so you can work your way up to the bigger Realms. Once you’ve found 20 prints in each Realm, you’re done with that one and can focus on the other two.

How to clean up Cheshire Paw Prints in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can get rid of Cheshire Paw Prints for the Cheshire Chaos event by equipping and using your Royal Watering Can to clean them up. They can be a bit tricky to target depending on where they spawn, so if you’re having trouble, try a few different angles to get it done.

Unlike Cheshire Cracks, they don’t drop a Memory Shard when you interact with them. Instead, each Cheshire Paw Print you water simply contributes progress towards the specific event task you’re working on. You can see how much progress you’ve made for each one on the event page.

How often do Cheshire Paw Prints spawn in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Cheshire Paw Prints spawn every 10 minutes. Up to five can be present in each Realm at once, so be sure to clear away all of the ones that are there to make room for more to appear. Since they take a bit to spawn, completing all event tasks does take some time.

While you’re waiting for more Paw Prints to appear, consider tackling some Garden of Whimsy Star Path duties to pass the time. Some good ones to work on are giving gifts to a blondechatting with a curious young villagergiving Arendelle’s Queen her favorites, and digging up a root vegetable with many eyes.
