Gimmighoul is one of the many returning Pokémon in Legends Z-A, and you can find it as part of the Mega Dimension DLC.
The process of finding and obtaining Gimmighoul is relatively simple. You get the first indication about the Pokémon as part of a new item that’s part of the DLC. This guide will help you figure out how to obtain Gimmighoul and then evolve it with the required items.

How to find Gimmighoul in Pokémon Legends Z-A
You’ll encounter Gimmighoul as part of a quest that introduces you to a trainer named Thelo. Thelo will introduce himself as a trainer who travels to distant lands to collect rare Pokémon from different regions.
He will offer you his Gimmighoul, given that you promise to take care of and evolve it. I have marked Thelo’s location on the map. Just speak with him, and he will offer you the Gimmighoul. Of course, obtaining the Pokémon is the easier part of the quest.
You’ll find Thelo close to the central area of Lumiose City, near Wild Zone 20. This spot also has plenty of Hyperspace Wild Zone spawns (more on that in the second section of the guide).
How to evolve Gimmighoul in Pokémon Legends Z-A
To evolve Gimmighoul, you’ll need 999 Gimmighoul Coins. This is a brand new item that can be found inside Hyperspace Wild Zones. The amount you find inside a zone will differ. When you begin the quest, you’ll be handed 413 Gimmighoul Coins. You’ll have to find the rest.
Once you have 999 Coins, you can use them to evolve Gimmighoul and complete the quest that you obtained from Thelo. You can use the Coins from your Satchel to directly evolve Gimmighoul.
