Finding the Shaker Instrument has been a matter of luck for a long time in ARC Raiders, but the Shrouded Sky update has changed that.
The Shaker Instrument, or just the ‘Shaker’, is the latest item to be added to the pool of field crafts. Items that are field craftable can be made during a raid (as long as you have the required resources). Let’s find out if you can have this musical instrument added to your inventory on an ongoing raid.
How to craft the Shaker in ARC Raiders
Since this method involves crafting the Shaker during a raid, you will need two skills. You’ll need to unlock the Tinkerer and In-Round Crafting skills. Both these skills are available on the Survival section of your skill tree. Once the two skills are unlocked, you’ll be able to craft the Shaker.
To make the Shaker, you will need the following resources.
- Seven Assorted Seeds
- One Canister
Canisters are uncommon loot that can be found during a raid. They’re pretty easy to find as it is. To get Assosted Seeds, you can get them as random loot. Alternatively, scrapping fruits like Olives and Lemons will also grant you the resource. If you want, you can bring the Canister and Assorted Seed with you on a raid.
Begin a raid, and open the crafting menu to pick the Shaker. Once done, it will be available in your inventory.
How to use the Shaker in ARC Raiders
Much like the Guitar, the Shaker doesn’t have any real use. You can use it to play tunes during a raid. However, it doesn’t have any practical usage, like doing damage to an enemy raider or an ARC. That said, it’s a fun item to make and have in your inventory. The Shaker is also pretty cheap in terms of the required resources.
There’s a bit of strong musical influence in the Shrouded Sky update. You can also find a piano at two locations and play it.
