Fortnite quests regularly ask you to visit and interact with all kinds of wacky items. One of the stranger missions you’ll be tasked with is entering Dumpsters or Flushers in different matches to help The Order brainstorm new secret hideout ideas.
It’s not really clear why The Order wants you to investigate such strange spots for inspiration, nor are you told where to go looking for these interactive spots. This can make checking off the mission fairly tough, so here’s how to enter Dumpsters or Flushers in different matches in Fortnite.

Dumpster locations in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 1

Dumpsters can be found around most main POIs across the island, usually next to large buildings or tucked away in alleys. They aren’t present absolutely everywhere, though, so if you’re struggling to find one, here are some of the best spots to look.
- Battlewood Boulevard is by far the best spot to visit for Dumpsters. Around this entire location, you’ll find a total of 14 Dumpsters, which is more than anywhere else on the island.
- Ripped Tides is another solid spot to check, as it has five Dumpsters available to interact with.
- Painted Palms also has a total of five Dumpsters you can hide in.
- Sandy Strip is a decent POI to check, with a total of four Dumpsters available for use.
Some other spots you can venture to that generally only have around one to two Dumpsters, thus making them less viable options but still decent contenders depending on where you land, are as follows.
- Wonkeeland
- Artsy RVs (A Landmark east of Classified Canyon)
- Classified Canyon
- Fun Factory (A Landmark north of Sus Studios)
- Fore Fields
- Toybox Docks (Landmark north of Tiptop Terrace)
- Sus Studios
- The gas station east of Wonkeeland, close to the base of the mountain
- Bumpy Bay

Flusher locations in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 1
Flushers, also known as Port-a-potties, are also pretty commonly found around many major POIs, although they can also be spotted at quite a few Landmark locations, too. Similar to Dumpsters, you won’t find Flushers everywhere, so there are some spots that are better to visit when you’re on the hunt for one.
- Wonkeeland is the overall best spot to check for Flushers, as you can find a total of four Flushers near the giant waterslide. This ride is located near the north end of the POI. There are two Flushers off to the side of it, down a set of stairs, and two more right by the top of the slide.
- At Classified Canyon, you can find two Flushers on either side of the triangular building right in the middle of this location.
- There are a few Flushers around the tunnels located west of Sandy Strip and east of Lethal Labs.
- The Collider Corridor Beta Landmark location, found north of Classified Canyon and south of Sandy Strip, has one Flusher.
- At the gas station east of Clawsy Lodge, south of Latte Landing, and west of Painted Palms, there’s one Flusher.
- One Flusher can be found at Toyboy Docks, a Landmark location located north of Tiptop Terrace.

Enter Dumpsters or Flushers in different matches in Fortnite
To finish the enter Dumpsters or Flushers in different matches quest, you need to enter Dumpsters or Flushers across the course of three different matches. You can work on this task throughout three matches in a row, or just check off one task in it occasionally across many more matches as you manage to find the right spots.
Dumpsters act as hiding spots, which means you can hop into one to hide away for as long as you wish. While you’re inside, the Dumpster will move a bit every few seconds. If another player shoots at the Dumpster to break it, you’ll be revealed. For the purposes of this quest, though, all you need to do is quickly hop in one. You can hang out for a bit or hop right back out as soon as you jump in.
Flushers are a bit different, as they may either be a hiding spot or a secret passage. Most of the Fluhers you’ll find on the island this season are teleporters, so as soon as you enter one, you’ll be teleported to another connected one. If you hop inside one and don’t get a secret passage cutscene, this means you’ve found a regular hiding spot you can hang out in. Entering either type contributes progress to this mission.

If you’re hoping to earn more XP after completing this quest, there are plenty of other tricky tasks worth tackling around the island. Next, you might consider working on touching a Zero Point Shard to investigate its mysterious effects, finding Human Bill, and asking The Order how to free her from her cell.
