If you’ve progressed to the Tier 3 mission, Vondel Investigation, as part of the White Lotus faction, it’s likely that you’ve already completed the Tier 1 mission, Shadow Company Intel. In this initial mission, your objective was to acquire the Shadow Company laptop and successfully extract it. If you were curious about the purpose of this laptop, its significance will become clear here.

The Vondel Investigation mission builds upon your previous accomplishment by tasking you with several objectives. First, you are required to infiltrate Vondel with the Shadow Company Laptop in your possession. Once inside, your next objective is to locate and retrieve the Russian hard drive from the Graveyard in Vondel. Finally, you must utilize the laptop to upload the contents of the Russian hard drive to Shadow Company at an upload station.

Infil into Vondel with the Shadow Company laptop

To begin the mission, you need to deploy onto Vondel while carrying the Shadow Company laptop. You must already have the laptop in your mission stash. In case you don’t, you can find it on a desk located on the second floor of the Science Center in the Town Center POI on Ashika Island. Refer to the provided map for the exact location if needed.

Once you have obtained the laptop, safely extract it and then deploy into Vondel. Completing this step will fulfill the first objective.

Find the Russian Hard Drive

For the second objective, your task is to locate and collect the Russian Hard Drive. Head towards the Graveyard POI in the central region of Vondel, positioned between the Zoo and the Castle. Keep an eye out for a prominent tomb-like structure there, as the hard drive will be situated behind it. Collect the hard drive and proceed to the next objective. The map above clearly marks the exact location for your reference.

In case you are unable to find it, it’s possible that another player has already obtained it, so you’ll need to try again in a separate deployment.

Upload the Russian Hard Drive to Shadow Company

Lastly, your objective is to upload the hard drive to Shadow Company using the laptop at an upload station. If you have prior experience with upload stations on Vondel, you may be aware that locating them requires finding a Secure Intel contract, unlike the radio towers on other maps. Fortunately, there are multiple upload stations scattered throughout the map, and the closest one is marked on the map provided above.

Once you have identified an upload station, make your way to its location and interact with it to initiate the upload process. After successfully completing the upload, you’ll accomplish the mission.
