Night Operation DMZ Mission explained

In the latest Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, players are experiencing a reset of their progress in the game. This means that certain things like key and mission item stashes, faction missions, and insured weapon slots are starting fresh again. As you begin your journey anew, you’ll encounter a Tier 2 White Lotus mission called Night Operation.

Just like many other missions in the game, this mission consists of three tasks. To complete it, you need to retrieve two IR Beacons from the Al Sharim Pass dead drop. Once you have them, your objective is to place one beacon at the north tower and the other at the south tower in the A.M. City construction zone. Now, let’s dive into the details of the mission without wasting any more time.

The first thing you need to do is find two IR Beacons at the Al Sharim Pass Dead Drop. If you’re not sure where it is, you can refer to the map provided above to help you. When you reach the location, head up the hill, but be careful because there will be soldiers guarding the area. Make sure to avoid them and collect the beacons. Once you have the beacons, you will have completed the first task of the mission.

Now, let’s move on to the second and third objectives of the mission. You need to place each of the two beacons at the north and south towers located in the A.M. City construction zone. This zone is situated just north of the Mawizeh Marshlands. Refer to the map to find the exact location.

When you arrive at the towers, you’ll notice an elevator shaft at the base of each tower. You can climb up to the top using the zipline in the shaft. At the North Tower, after exiting the shaft, drop down one level and you’ll find a spot where you can plant the beacon. At the South Tower, simply climb up and plant the beacon.

The platform where you need to plant the beacons looks pretty much the same for both towers. Once you have successfully planted the beacons at both towers, your mission will be completed.
