High on Life 2 has plenty of achievements to complete, and the Good Ending is a secret one that you can finish pretty early in the game.

The name of the achievement might sound like ‘the’ good ending, but that’s not the case. The achievement is named for what the game considers the ‘right ending’. Let’s look at how you can complete this achievement.

High on Life 2 Good Ending achievement guide

The earliest opportunity to complete the Good Ending achievement arrives right after the first mission. When it starts, you’re declared a legendary bounty hunter. You also have a small museum that celebrates your previous achievements. Reach the bounty terminal, and Gene will announce that there’s a huge bounty on your sister, Lizzie.

If you complete the quest as intended, you’ll rescue Lizzie. Lizzie carries the Harper weapon, which was also present in the first game (as part of the DLC). In High on Life 2, she leads a rebel group and is considered a space terrorist. You can check out the bounty rewards and details on the bounty board.

When you meet Lizzie at the Aviary, fellow bounty hunters will surround her. However, they won’t attack you at first. While I shot the other bounty hunters, you can instead shoot and kill Lizzie. While the game clearly wants you to eliminate the enemies, shooting Lizzie is a valid option.

Once you kill Lizzie, you’ll complete the Good Ending achievement. However, the game immediately ends, and will cut to the end credits. You’ll view a still image of Lizzie’s funeral, followed by the notification of the achievement.

If you’re opting for this ending, you’ll once again need to start fresh and hunt the bounty hunters to continue the story.
