There are some decently tricky parts to this task, so successfully navigating through it can be a bit tough. Finishing it is crucial if you want to know how the storyline ends, though, so here’s how to complete The Baron’s Big Deal in Fortnite.

The Baron’s Big Deal quest in Fortnite

To complete The Baron’s Big Deal quest, you need to confront Daigo and Fletcher Kane to try and stop them from opening the portal. There are a few extra steps throughout this process, so here’s a full breakdown of everything you need to get done.

To get this quest started, you need to travel to the portal northeast of Magic Mosses and northwest of Pumped Power. It’s easiest to land there straight from the battle bus since there’s a massive red beam in the sky guiding you to the right location. You also need to act fast since the next part of this quest tasks you with taking down the Baron.

Defeat the Baron before Daigo can enter the portal

Once you’re at the right location, you need to take down the Baron as quickly as possible. Open any chests you find nearby to quickly stock up on loot, then jump right into battle. There will likely be other players trying to finish this task too, but just do your best to ignore them and focus on dealing damage against the Baron.

There were two enemy players fighting him alongside me, and even though I wasn’t the one who dealt the killing blow, this quest was still completed as soon as the Baron perished. It seems like you just need to be part of the crew taking him down to finish this task, so make sure you get at least one hit on him before he dies.

No matter how quickly you take down the Baron, Daigo will still make it through the portal. Defeating the Baron finishes the second main part of this quest, though, so you’ve now unlocked the Daigo’s Fate Cinematic to learn what happens next.

If you arrive at the right spot and the Baron is missing, you’ll have to wait until the next match to try again. He gets defeated pretty quickly since it’s a key part of this task, and he drops a powerful Medallion, so head there from the battle bus for the best chance at getting this quest done.

How to view Daigo’s Fate live event cinematic in Fortnite

You can view the Daigo’s Fate cinematic from the Outlaws Story quest tab. It’s granted as a reward once you’ve completed the other parts of The Baron’s Big Deal quest, but it can only be viewed from the main menu. It’s not a live event and instead is a short scene to complement the event you just witnessed.

The quest and cinematic are only available until the next season begins on May 2. You only have a short period of time to work through this special task, so get going on it as soon as you can.
