The Summer Sizzle event has quite a collection of tricky missions available for you to tackle in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the tougher ones you’ll encounter is Summer Sizzle: Potions, a series of three missions given to you by Ursula.
While some of the quests she tasks you with are fairly straightforward, there’s one that’s entirely misleading, which can lead to you ending up stuck and unable to progress through the event if you can’t figure it out. To ensure you don’t miss out on any exclusive event prizes, here’s how to complete Summer Sizzle: Potions in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Summer Sizzle Potions quest walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You get a unique, randomly chosen quest from either Ursula, Remy, or Goofy each day of the Summer Sizzle event. Ursula has three different possible quests she may grant you. Here’s how to tackle each one.
- Quest #1 – Pick up three Blue Marshmallows.
- You can find and gather Blue Marshmallows from three special event bushes that spawn in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow regions.
- Quest #2 – Pick up three “Purple” Hydrangeas.
- Although the text for this quest specifically asks you to seek out Purple Hydrangeas, you actually need to find and gather Blue Hydrangeas for Ursula to get this mission done. The text seems to be incorrect, and the mission is a bit bugged because of this.
- Quest #3 – Pick up three Pink Marshmallows.
- Pink Marshmallows can be gathered from three event bushes. These bushes pop up in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow biomes, depending on where you have room for them to spawn.
Two of Ursula’s daily quests are very straightforward and simply task you with harvesting some Marshmallows from the event bushes for her to use in potion brewing. The third one, though, is a lot tougher to complete, as it asks you for the complete wrong item.
Ignore what Ursula and the quest text tell you to seek out, and instead go hunting for Blue Hydrangeas to complete this task. You can find and pick up this flower from around the Dazzle Beach biome.
Summer Sizzle Potions quest reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Each one of Ursula’s Summer Sizzle: Potion quests you complete grants you one Summer Picnic Basket as a reward. This item is meant to be given away to villagers for a sold friendship boost, but you can also sell them for 2,500 Star Coins each at Goofy’s stall.
As you check off daily missions featured in this event, you also make progress in the Deliver Some Sweetness duty. Hitting landmarks throughout this quest unlocks pieces of the Lake Dock building set.
