Luke’s got a bit of rigorous training for you to complete, and plenty of XP to reward you with once it’s done. He also gives you a special weapon for your hard work. Here’s how to complete all of Luke Skywalker’s story quests in Fortnite.

Luke Skywalker has three quests for you to complete, but they’re really all part of the same overarching goal, which is to complete his special training for you. The exact tasks you need to finish for him are:

  • Begin your training.
  • Run through rings on the course.
  • Return to Luke to complete your training.

Begin your training in Fortnite

The first step is to visit the Luke Skywalker NPC located south of the Resistance Base and north of Shiny Shafts. Once you find him, have a chat with him to begin your training. The next story quest begins as soon as you’re done talking to him. He has a few different options available when talking to him, so make sure you choose the diamond icon with an exclamation point to start this task.

The main task in Luke Skywalker’s quest tasks you with running through 10 rings around the course he creates for you. Only one ring is visible at a time, so you have to run through each one to get the next ring to appear.

The course essentially takes you around in a circle starting at Luke’s location, slightly north down the road toward the Resistance Base, past the BURD To Go Landmark, slightly into the swamps, around the other side of the BURD To Go location, and back to Luke. The path isn’t too tough to follow, but it’s easy to get lost if you move around too quickly, so keep a close eye on each ring.

You can walk, drive, or fly through Luke’s course. There’s one hoop that you have to ride a zipline across to pass through, but all of the other ones are close to the ground. The course isn’t too long, so I recommend walking to have the easiest time navigating around since some of the swamp areas are tough to traverse in a vehicle.

All hoops on the course are marked with a white diamond icon with an exclamation point in it. This icon appears on both the map and near the hoop. If you lose sight of where to go, look for this icon to get back on track.

Return to Luke to complete your training in Fortnite

Once you go through all 10 hoops, return to Luke Skywalker to complete his story quests. He gives you a Legendary DL-44 Blaster Pistol for your hard work, and you also get a whopping 30,000 XP to spend on the battle pass.

There are many other tricky quests you can work on next to earn more XP. Some good ones to tackle are Leia Organa’s story quests, bringing a Jedi Padawan lightsaber to General Grievous, and visiting Republic Outpost locations.
