Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snaps duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Critter Snaps duty for the Dreamlight Parks Fest event, you need to take a picture of Mirabel with each of the five Squirrels you can find wandering around the valley. It’s a pretty tough task since you not only have to track down each one but also need to get Mirabel to stand close enough to count as being in the picture.
The first step in this process is to start hunting for the Squirrels you need to have in the pictures. Some other quests that require you to take pictures with critters allow you to use ones you assign to critter homes, but this quest only works with wild ones, so you have to find them around the valley.

All five Squirrels you can interact with can be found wandering around the Plaza biome, but each one has a unique schedule. Here are the exact times and days you can find each one.

Take a photo of Mirabel with each Squirrel in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To capture a photo of Mirabel with each Squirrel for the Critter Snaps quest, you need to:
- Ask Mirabel to hang out. You need to have her in the frame of each shot, so she needs to be following you around to make this happen.
- Travel to the Plaza biome. This is the central biome right in the middle of the valley.
- Find one of the five Squirrels. Check the schedule for each one to make sure you’re looking for them at the right time.
- Equip your Phone. You can find it among the many options on the Royal Tool wheel.
- Make sure Mirabel and the Squirrel are in the shot. Move your camera around until you get both subjects in the photo.
- Snap the picture. Capture the photo with both Mirabel and the Squirrel to check off one part of the Critter Snaps duty.
- Repeat this process for the other Squirrels. Follow the same steps for the other four Squirrels.
