Season 2 Reloaded introduces a new Story Mission for Modern Warfare 3 Zombies’ Act 4. The quest takes Operators to a new Anomaly, transporting them into an undead realm. So, to prepare for the fight, here’s how to complete Countermeasures in MW3 Zombies.
MW3 Zombies Countermeasures guide
Before heading into the map, activate the Countermeasures mission to trigger a waypoint upon start. If you have any Schematics, I recommend equipping a few Perk-a-Colas, like Jugger-Nog, Speed Cola, Death Perception, Stamin-Up, and Quick Revive. The Death Perception ability comes in handy later on since it helps you find objects easily.
I also suggest Pack-a-Punching your weapon to Tier 3 to quickly blast through the zombie hordes. Although the Dark Aether zombies are at Tier 2, it’s just a lot simpler to have an upgraded weapon. If you’re a solo player, don’t worry about gathering a team for Countermeasures, as NPC soldiers will assist you.
Once preparations are made, head to the portal at the waypoint and wait for the objective. The first task, “Investigate the nearby distress signal,” requires entering a building and locating a few soldiers on the top floor.
The rest of the mission plays out like standard Contracts in Urzikstan. Thus, you must complete the following objectives in MW3 Zombies:
- Escort – Take down zombies near the ACV and escort it
- Eliminate – Continue to defeat enemies and destroy the signal disruption
- Rescue Fletcher – Remove 15 cysts in the mall (similar to Aether Nests)
- Outlast – Activate and eliminate zombies near PND
An interference will halt the Escort task during the run, so look for a pulsing signal to determine the source. It should lead you to a computer, which must be investigated. However, be cautious of the Mimic fight that ensues shortly after.
The Rescue Fletcher objective is probably the most time-consuming, so use Death Perception to pinpoint the cysts. They primarily spawn on the bottom floor, at least for me. The cysts also typically appear near stairways and ceilings.
After activating the PND, you must eliminate a formidable boss to escape the Rift and claim rewards for your efforts.
How to defeat Krawvir in MW3 Zombies
Krawvir is a deadly Mangler who will unleash numerous zombie hordes. Do your best to focus on the boss, hitting the armor on its legs, arms, chest, and head. Over time, a symbol of the boss’ breaking armor will appear.
Watch out for Krawvir’s pulsing attack, which can force you to shoot and deplete all your bullets. Luckily, this can be used against the enemy by aiming at them and other zombies. But, if there are too many opponents, throw a distraction like Decoy Grenades and Monkey Bombs.

Then, Exfil with them to begin another adventure in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. A secret mission will likely be a part of the Drum, so I recommend keeping it in your stash for future endeavors.
