Where to find Beren for Dragon’s Dogma 2 Claw Them Into Shape

Before we get into the quest itself, you may wonder where to find Beren to start the Claw Them Into Shape storyline. He can be found at the Moonglow Garden, near the Riftstone of the Summit. The garden will be to the left of the Borderwatch Outpost, where you can look for a patch of glowing blue Moonglow.

Beren seems to only appear during the night, so use the campfire nearby to change the time. The darkness makes it easier to spot the illuminated Moonglow, indicating that Beren’s tent isn’t too far away.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Claw Them Into Shape quest guide

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Claw Them Into Shape features three objectives:

  • Procure weapons – Obtain any three weapons of your choice
  • Find a motivational soldier – Go to Vernworth to look for a recruit
  • Have a bout with Beren – Fight Beren

To hit two birds with one stone, travel to Vernworth to pick up the three weapons and the recruit. The Smithy’s Iron Swords are the best choice, as they don’t require too much gold. Then, start looking around the Merchant Quarter to find the recruit for Claw Them Into Shape. Quest Guide Pawns can also lead you to the motivational soldier. I was able to locate the character near the Vernworth Portcrystal.

Search around there to spot Humphrey with a sword:

After completing all the objectives, return to Beren to give him the good news. This interaction unlocks the fight against him, but don’t worry; you don’t have to kill him. All that is needed is to push Beren out of the boundaries to win the showdown.

How to complete Beren’s Final Lesson in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Even if you’ve finished Claw Them Into Shape in Dragon’s Dogma 2, Beren’s story continues. Revisit him at Moonglow Garden in the night, and a fight with a Cyclops ensues. Attack the enemy’s legs and eyes to deal more significant damage. Fortunately, Beren and other soldiers will help you, quickening the pace of the battle.

When the fight’s over, Beren discovers a newfound resolve for his life and is headed to Battahl to train more soldiers.

Beren’s location after Beren’s Final Lesson

To find Beren after the mission, you must first obtain a Battahl Border Entry Permit. He will be past the main gates of the Checkpoint Rest Town, where a guard will stop you for the permit.

I found Beren on the pathway to it, presenting the reward for the Champion’s Fable in Dragon’s Dogma 2. It can be used to learn the Warrior Vocation’s Arc of Might. The ability consumes all of the wielder’s stamina and then utilizes it to unleash a devastating blow.
