How to catch Spiritomb in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Another spooky ‘Dex entry

Recommended Videos

It’s getting down to the wire for me and my Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Pokedex, as all I need to do is get some exclusives and I’m good to go: Spiritomb was near the end of my list. This is actually one of the last Pokemon I picked up (beyond exclusives) in my game, so it makes sense if you’re missing it and looking for a guide.

We got you!

You can find Spiritomb south of the icy town of Glaseado

When in doubt, look for ruins if you’re searching for ghost (or even fairy) Pokemon. If you want to come across some of these Pokemon organically and without a guide, ruins (marked similarly to the ones in the above map with the red arrow) are a surefire way to find what you’re looking for.

In this case, Spiritomb can be found wandering around those exact ruins south of Glaseado. It’s a pretty straight-forward catch and grab operation, but since ruins don’t always show up clearly on the map, I completely passed this by on my first run through the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if many others did the same!

Spiritomb does not evolve, so all you need to go is catch it and move on.
