Star Path duties are some of the trickiest quests to figure out in Disney Dreamlight Valley, as they oftentimes include riddles and vague hints to solve. One such quest you’ll run into on the Godly Glamor Star Path event asks you to bring gems or minerals to a grumpy satyr.
Figuring out who the grumpy satyr is can be difficult, and narrowing down what counts as minerals and gems can be, too. It’s quite a rewarding task to complete once you figure both parts out, though, so here’s how to bring gems or minerals to a grumpy satyr in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Who is a grumpy satyr in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

A grumpy satyr is Phil from the Hercules Realm in DDV. You must progress through the full Hercules Realm storyline and unlock both Hercules and Phil to recruit him to your valley. He’s the second character you can invite from this area, making him a fairly tough character to unlock.
Phil is known for his grumpy demeanor, and he’s part goat, which makes him the grumpy satyr mentioned in this duty. Satyrs are nature spirits from Greek mythology, so this can be a fairly tricky hint to solve if you’re not familiar with it.
Bring gems or minerals to a grumpy satyr in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the bring gems or minerals to a grumpy satyr duty for the Godly Glamor Star Path event, you need to give Phil five gems or minerals. Although the wording of this task implies that there are two categories of items you can choose from, gems are the only items officially classified as minerals, so you’ll need to give Phil gems to complete this duty.
Gems found around the main valley, like Garnet or Aquamarine, work for this quest, as do others you can find around DLC worlds, like Honeycomb Stone over in Wishblossom Ranch or Opal in Storybook Vale. Any item that’s officially classified as a gem works for this mission, regardless of where it originates from.

Regardless of where you go hunting for gems, you need to use your Royal Pickaxe to mine rock spots to obtain them. It’s a good idea to bring along a mining villager and two mining Companions when working on this task, as they’ll occasionally help you find bonus items.
If you’re seeking gems but don’t feel like mining for them, you might consider purchasing them instead. As long as you’ve maxed out your friendship with Aladdin, you can buy some gems from his stall.
You’re rewarded with 50 Tokens to spend in the Godly Glamor Star Path event for completing this task. It’s quite an easy one to check off once you know who you need to give gems and minerals to and which items fall under this category, so it’s a great duty to prioritize when you’re seeking some easy Tokens.

As rewarding as this quest is, you’ll generally still need quite a bit more to purchase most event rewards. To earn even more Tokens to spend, consider working through some additional event missions next, like shaking up your snack routine, chatting with the village’s best dealmaker, taking a photo of a true hero’s house, trying on your Ivory and Gold Toga Dress, and watering your garden.
