Pursuing presidency in BitLife is one of the hardest challenges you can face, as it involves decades of hard work, spending millions on campaigns, and some luck with who your rivals are. However, it’s possible as long as you’re committed to the cause. Here’s how to become president in BitLife.

Before becoming president in BitLife, you must buy the politician special job pack. This pack is available in the BitLife marketplace under job packs, or as part of the game’s Boss Mode bundle. Without this, you can’t run for any political offices, making it impossible to become president.

Once you buy the politician career pack, create a character whose starting country is the United States. Many other countries have royalty that allows you to become a noble, but you’ll want the US for the presidency. From here, age up your character until they turn 18 and get either a political science or criminal justice degree from a university. If you don’t see them in your degree list, close and reopen the BitLife app until you find one. I’ve had success with both degrees, and it’s up to you which you choose.

All BitLife politician careers

After getting your political science degree, head into the politician special career category. Here, you’ll find the following four choices:

  • School Board Director
  • Mayor
  • State Governor
  • President of the United States

While the first three careers require being at least 25 years old, becoming president requires being 35. With this in mind, you have ten years to pursue each job, raise your approval rating, and make money before going for your presidential election. Each role is key to becoming president later, with mayor and state governor being particularly important.

Raising money and approval ratings

Another important part of becoming president is making money. While school board director and mayor don’t require much spending, becoming president will easily cost you $100 million. While you’ll make plenty of money through your political career, having a strong social media presence or other side gigs to make extra money will help you save up for the campaign. You can even pursue a musical career if that helps your money-making adventure.

Once you have your finances sorted, run for your first election as either a school board director or mayor and allocate plenty of money to the campaign budget. I usually add $50,000 to school board director and $80,000 to mayor, but adding more will raise your chances of success. Although you can skip becoming a director, I find that it makes the process easier, so I usually start here and work my way up.

Carefully answer each question until you’re successfully elected before making speeches, setting your political agenda, and organizing rallies. Your goal is to raise your approval rating to help your chances of reelection later.

By the time you complete two terms as mayor, you’ll be ready to pursue the state governor role next. The process is the same as before, except you’ll have to spend more to get elected. Expect to spend over $200,000 on the campaign to play it safe. After becoming governor, you’ll want to keep an eye on your political agenda this time and set your six issues to around nine hours a week to keep your approval high without reducing your character’s health.

Lastly, it’s time to become president in BitLife. Although the process hasn’t changed, you’ll want to be more attentive to your initial election answers. Your spending will also be much higher, as a successful campaign will run you around $100 million. While you can get away with lower, this amount is usually a safe bet.

Once you make $100 million, resolve each election situation, and get higher ratings than your opponent, you’ll officially become a president in BitLife.
