How to become a Secret Agent in BitLife

Becoming a secret agent requires purchasing its expansion pack in the BitLife marketplace for $6.99 or your regional equivalent. After buying the expansion, head into the Activities menu and scroll until you see Spy Agency. Purchase a storefront to start your agency and become a secret agent.

Be prepared to spend a good chunk of money on your storefront. Since it’s a physical location, the cost typically starts at $300,000, with an upper range of over $10 million. While its location will help determine your success, you’ll gradually unlock over features to help you run a successful spy agency.

What does a Spymaster do in BitLife?

Once you purchase your storefront and choose a codename, you’ll become an official Spymaster. From here, you can access your spy agency menu in Activities, where you’ll find stats about your performance, cover, agent list, and more. At first, you won’t have any agents, and your proficiency will be low. Over time, you’ll improve these stats.

As a Spymaster, you can do several activities, with the list below describing a few:

  • Recruit new agents
  • Infiltrate a rival agency’s network
  • Send your agents on missions
  • Relocate your headquarters
  • Install security equipment
  • Purchase agency tech

Alongside these, you can leave the agency, change its name, or change your name, among other options. Your first step is to recruit proficient agents who you can send on missions, as this allows you to make money from your agency. While starting with low-risk, low-pay jobs, they can take on dangerous tasks as their proficiency improves.

Your goal is to recruit and train successful agents to go on missions and infiltrate rival agency data. This lets you make money, weaken other agencies, and learn some interesting information about the NPCs around you. However, it comes at the risk of having your agency data breached or agents harmed, so you’ll have to invest in security equipment, hideouts, and spy gadgets to defend yourself.
