How many P Switches are in Mario Kart World?

Lot of P.

If you load into Mario Kart World’s freeroam mode and explore the map, chances are you will come across a P Switch or two now and again that tasks you with a mission to unlock an item, usually one of the various Stickers.

The P Switch is easy to find, but also incredibly annoying to find, as once you claim one, it doesn’t appear on the map, greyed out for you to share information or appear on the map at all. You can just come across one randomly, try the mission, fail it, move on to another area, and then, when you try to find it again, you completely blank where it was.

To start a P Switch mission, you need to drive into it. The task will then appear briefly, and you’ll have a set amount of time to complete the task. If the timer reaches zero, you’ll be given an option to reset the quest where you started or drive on and not bother with it for the time being.

In total, there are over 125 P Switches to find throughout the world. 129 to be specific, though it’s possible we might have missed a few here or there. It’s hard to tell and keep track, and I might update the article in the future with a static figure once we lock it in.

As for where to locate them, we will need to come back to that eventually. There are so many to find spread out with their each available missions that it’ll be hard to have a concrete list of them all this close to launch. They are mainly meant to be found casually anyway, and as the rewards are stickers, we imagine a lot of players won’t attempt to find them all and focus on racing instead.

But either way, let us know in the comments below what was the best P Switch you came across—and where it was—so we can go try it out for ourselves.
