All week long, we’ve been asking developers to tell us (in their own words, and in any way they see fit) just how “metal” their upcoming games are. It is, after all, Rocktober.
We started the week with BioWare and Dragon Age, followed by Gearbox’s lengthy response on Borderlands. Today, we bring you the response we received from Insomniac Games when we asked “Just how ‘metal’ is Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time?”
Imagine our surprise when we received a response from Clank himself, who has a surprisingly interesting perspective on what it means to be “metal.”
Hmm… it is curious that biological life forms consider video games to be “metal,” when in fact they are constructed using a high-density polycarbonate.
I, of course, am constructed with a surgical-grade titanium alloy combined with zeptolux cooling circuitry and XP-88 Sisterboards. But if by “metal” you are inquiring as to how “awesome” my latest adventure is on a scale of one to ten, I would have to give it an eight-point-three billion.
“Ten” being extremely metal.
