Hot Hot Heat: Heists are finally coming to GTA Online soon

Better late than never

Rockstar’s been notably tardy on its delivery of the much-anticipated heists to Grand Theft Auto Online. In fact, the delay was so great that most players wrote the feature off as a promise that would go unfulfilled. That’s not the case, as they’ll be added into the game, and the wait shouldn’t be much longer.

The GTA Online publisher took to its site yesterday to post a census of sorts about the game’s popularity, but in doing so also stated that heists will be included in the first update following the Xbox One and PS4 release. There’s no timetable outlining when that’s expected, but it’s in the pipeline.

Also mentioned was that heists will be coming to all four consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One), meaning that there are no “current-gen only” shenanigans. Aside from that, Rockstar promises to have more details “very soon.” That should leave you just enough time to go buy a windowless van and a sweet ski mask.
