Homeworld Remastered Collection trailer shows off sexy-voiced cultist or something

‘If you will not join, then die’

All right, I’ll admit it: I know almost nothing about Homeworld. After reading the plot synopsis on Wikipedia (yeah journalism!), I got the gist of how things go, but with all of the alien races involved I can’t really place who the people in the trailer above are supposed to be.

All I know is that while the little ship was slowly orbiting the other, checking it out, and giving its best smooth jazz radio DJ voice, I was expecting to learn how baby spaceships are made. Things did not turn out exactly as I thought. Or maybe they did, if the swarm of tiny, orange-tailed ships that shoot out of the big, skinny one at the end are any indication.

Homeworld Remastered Collection is set to release on February 25. That’s next week!
