Though Gamescom 2025 didn’t give us a lot of information regarding Silksong during the Opening Night (so far), we got this big piece of information: Silksong is coming out this year, with exact dates still TBA.
During Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live, the event’s host, Geoff Keighley, shared new information regarding the incredibly highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game, which many thought was a myth for a very long time, finally has a launch window: sometime this year.
Additional information is to be revealed in the coming days, specifically on Thursday, while Keighley did give us a little sneak peek at Silksong‘s gameplay.
The gameplay showcased was very reminiscent of the first game, with elevated combat and action, flashier and more awesome fights, and recognizable fast-paced platforming we’ve all come to know and expect from Hollow Knight.
As stated, Silksong is real and coming in 2025, with the exact details to be confirmed at a later date.
