Holiday cards: Prototype digital card isn’t much, but it sure is snowy

While we’ve received a few physical holiday cards, we’ve also gotten our fair share of digital cards in our email inbox. Today, we received holiday wishes from Radical Entertainment, the folks behind the upcoming third-person open-world destroy-a-thon, Prototype. 

We appreciate the sentiments, but there’s nothing particularly exciting about the card. It’s just the Prototype logo, some teasing words, a link to the official Web site, and animated snow. Still, it’s enough to remind us that we want Prototype, and we want it now. 

No, we haven’t played it yet, but it looks good from what we’ve seen. And smashing things is usually fun. It’s also good to hear that the Sierra fallout didn’t leave Prototype as a casualty; Activision looks to have quickly picked up the reins on this one. Fast enough to make sure we received a holiday card!

Prototype is slated for an April 1, 2009 release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
