Hogwarts Legacy’s core premise is all about being a customizable wizard or witch who excels at casting spells of all kind. Be it spells for completing puzzles or combat or even murdering your opponents, there are many different ones that you can cast in the game. Here are all of the Hogwarts Legacy spells and how each of them works.

All Hogwarts Legacy spells, explained

There is a grand total of 26 spells that are available to the player in Hogwarts Legacy. Oddly enough, you can see all 26 of them from the start of the game, even if you haven’t unlocked them. This is available in the spot where you set spells to your hot bar.

Some of these spells are unlocked through the main story, while others are in side quests and assignments from your professors. Here’s how all of them work.

Alohomora

Alohomora is the lockpicking spell in Hogwarts Legacy. You don’t need to put it on your hot bar to use. It has three different versions, all unlockable through The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament and Demiguise quests.
