Yesterday, we found out that evil publisher Activision is planning to sell Modern Warfare 2 for the disgusting price of £54.99. One of the first questions had by stricken British gamers was one they also dreaded the answer to — will the UK get a Prestige Edition, and if so, how much will that extravagent sh*t cost? Well, we now know the answer.
British retailer HMV will have exclusive rights to sell Modern Warfare 2: Prestige Edition in the United Kingdom, and they’ll be selling it for £119.99. What’s more, the special edition will only be available via the store’s Web site, and won’t be found in shops. Numbers are limited, so if you’re interested in spending that much money for a pair of Night Vision Goggles, you better pre-order it quickly.
