Hitman headlines September’s Games with Gold selection

You’ll never see it coming

Xbox Live Gold subscribers are in for a treat in September. The “Games with Gold” selection has been announced and it contains Hitman: The Complete First Season. While not as good as its sequel, IO Interactive’s reboot to the iconic assassin series is well worth the time it takes to play. It’s also good enough to hold the entire month on its shoulders, though the other titles aren’t bad either.

On the 360 side of things, you’ll get Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Earth Defense Force 2025. The other Xbox One game is We Were Here, which is the only game I don’t know much about. From a quick Google search, it looks to be a cooperative based puzzle game, which sounds pretty neat. It’s relatively cheap on other platforms, so I may have to give it a go.

Here’s when you’ll be able to grab each game. Last month’s titles will be available until noted.

Xbox One

  • Hitman: The Complete First Season – September 1 – 30
  • We Were Here – September 16 – October 15

Xbox 360

  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – September 16- 30
  • Earth Defense Force 2025 – September 1 – 15
