Just like in every other Roblox battleground experience, utilizing the right characters can make your gameplay much more enjoyable. Now, as the power gap between the best and the worst characters here is quite wide, we prepared the following Heroes Battlegrounds character tier list to help you stay on top of the meta, no matter who you face against.
Heroes Battlegrounds Character Tier List
In the tier list above, we ranked every character in Heroes Battlegrounds based on their combo potential, damage, versatility, and the ability to disengage and break combos. With that in mind, Explosion Hero, Decaying Hatred, and Green Hero (Mastery) are the best characters currently available. Still, all characters can be powerful when you become proficient enough with them.
One thing to note is that while most characters are available for free, Winged Assassin is playable only with the Early Access Gamepass, which costs 180 Robux. The Strongest and Huge Lady characters are available only on private servers with the Private Server+ (359 Robux) Gamepass purchased.
How to Switch Characters and Practice in Heroes Battlegrounds
You can switch between characters by clicking on the character icon in the upper-left of your screen. Keep in mind that you can do so only while outside of combat. In case you want to practice combos and test the damage of each character, you can do this by creating a free private server while in the game.

You can unlock the Mastery variations of specific characters by completing mastery quests while using those characters. You can access the mastery quest menu by clicking on the starfall icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Even though most characters are available for free in Heroes Battlegrounds, some require you to have either the Early Access (Winged Assassin) or the Private Server+ (The Strongest, Huge Lady) gamepass in order to play with them.
