Here’s the first look at Need for Speed Heat’s gameplay

That’s what I call hot pursuit

Just a few days after it was formally announced, EA has given us our first proper look at Need for Speed Heat.

As a part of today’s gamescom: Opening Night Live, EA debuted the gameplay trailer for Need for Speed Heat. It’s kind of split up into two phases, and the difference between the two is day and night. No, it’s literally day and night.

Daytime is full of sanctioned racing events, living fast and furious but also within the rules. Nighttime is when the illegal street racing takes place. It’s also when the cops are hot on your tail. Evade the authorities, race to the checkered flag — it’s all a matter of just driving hella fast.

Need for Speed Heat launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 8.
