Yesterday, Microsoft and Bungie premiered a 60-second live-action Halo: Reach clip. After the hyperventilating subsided, our resident Halo fanboy Hamza Aziz posted it for all to see. The nerd even said the trailer didn’t do “the fiction some justice” because it didn’t show the “Birth of the Spartan” in detail.

“Oh my word,” he said, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. “Clearly there’s more to it than this. Plus, the armor in the trailer more closely resembles the prototype MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark V than the final issue combat suit. You can tell because everyone knows that the final model had an anti-reflective coating on the mask to allow for soldiers to be more covert in the field.”

Or something. Anyhow, here’s the extended trailer, clocking in at nearly three minutes. Perhaps this will please Hamza more.
