At long last, Decidueye makes its debut in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Anyone who defeats the ghost owl in its corresponding 7-Star Tera Raid battle will be able to catch it, so naturally, we did just that. Check out all its stats, abilities, and moves below.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Decidueye loot list

Here’s everything I earned during my first clear of this battle. As a reminder, you can only catch Decidueye once while the event is live. However, you can run the battle continuously for rewards.

  • Candy L x6
  • Candy XL x4
  • Protein x3
  • Calcium x3
  • Flying Tera Shard x20
  • TM164 (Brave Bird)
  • Ability Patch
  • Candy L x5
  • Nugget x2
  • Candy L x5
  • Rare Candy x2
  • Candy L x3
  • Star Piece x2
  • Nugget x2

It looks like Tera Shard gains are similar to the Pikachu event. Rejoice! TM164 and the guaranteed Ability Patch will only drop once, though there is a small chance for Ability Patches to drop if you continue to farm this event.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Decidueye moves and stats

Decidueye sports the Flying Tera Type. Like past events, it is level 100 and has its hidden ability Long Reach. Here are its moves:

  • Spirit Shackle
  • Brave Bird
  • Low Kick
  • Leaf Blade

Here are Decidueye’s stats:

  • HP – 297
  • Attack – 226
  • Defense – 186
  • Sp. Atk – 236
  • Sp. Def – 236
  • Speed – 158

Also like past 7-Star encounters, Decidueye will have the Mightiest Mark. This grants it the title of Decidueye the Unrivaled.

Does the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Decidueye count as a Paldean Pokedex entry?

Nope! The Pokedex will stay at a maximum of 400, regardless of how many event monsters you catch. This may change down the line, but for now, Decidueye doesn’t affect your Pokedex completion.
