Here’s how Kinect can work with real-time strategy titles

We’ve seen some interesting and flat-out bizarre Kinect projects these past few weeks, many of which were created by individuals merely seeing what the device is capable of. The video above shows how Kinect can be used to play strategy games like R.U.S.E.

For a title not designed with Kinect in mind per se (R.U.S.E. does support Windows 7’s multi-touch functionality), it appears to perform quite well — how you would probably want it to handle. The credit for that goes to Evoluce, it would seem.

I don’t know that I would take Kinect over a mouse and keyboard for this genre, but it’d be fun to try.
