Here’s a Nintendo DSi promotional video to convince you it’s the new hotness

Now I know a lot of you guys aren’t sold on the Nintendo DSi. You’re fine with your DS Lite. The lack of the Game Boy Advance slot is unacceptable. You’re not sold on the SD storage or DSiWare. You don’t like the idea of a device that can take a picture of both your face and crotch at the same time.

Whatever. I get it.

But this promotional video, found on the YouTube page of Toys R’ Us UK, does a decent job of showing off the devices sexy new features. Sure, you have to be subjected to video footage of people — many of them old enough to be some of your parents … or grandparents — having way to much fun with the damned handheld. And the promo is ridiculous “Nintendo-white” that you might have to wear sunglasses.

But damned if it doesn’t make me want one, if only because it’s shiny and new, and I sure do like shiny and new things. I think I have a $169.99 in change lying around that I can dig up before April 5. (Note the video shows a UK release date of April 3. You lucky British devils.)
