Here are the weapons from Splatoon 2’s new ‘Kensa Collection’

How to splat with style

Yesterday saw the release of Version 4.1.0 – expected to be the final major update – in Nintendo Switch shooter Splatoon 2. The update brings to the multiplayer title a new map, Skipper Pavilion, new music tracks from SashiMori and Diss-Pair, and a selection of new weapons, collectively known as the “Kensa Collection”.

The Kensa Collection is a slick looking selection of ink-splatting tools, ironically styled in black-and-white, given the game’s generally colourful outlook on life. The collection is named after fictional in-universe designer Toni Kensa, who also designs clothing for the Squid Kids and Octolings to wear during their frenetic battles.

The four weapons that make up the collection are as follows:

  • Kensa Splattershot Pro. Splat Bomb sub, Booyah Bomb special.
  • Kensa Luna Blaster. Carbonate Bomb sub, Ink Storm special.
  • Kensa Dynamo Roller. Sprinkler sub, Booyah Bomb special.
  • Kensa Sloshing Machine. Carbonate Bomb sub, Splashdown special.

Along with these weapons, we have also seen the debut of the hand-grenade style Carbonite Bomb, and the devastating new special, the Booyah Bomb, which is literally powered by your team mashing out emotes! All of these weapons are ready for action Splatoon 2 right now.

Splatoon 2 is available now on Nintendo Switch.
