This cult classic 360/PS3 era RPG is finally getting a sequel on March 21. The trailers make it look like more of the same, but the graphics have been vastly improved, and the AI of your companions is more effective. This game is like a mix of Elder Scrolls and Shadow of the Colossus. You’re climbing on top of enemies, fighting them with swords and magic, and exploring a vast fantasy world. You can also enlist the help of pawns from other online players. Hopefully, a rumored demo will become a reality.

Usually the damsel in distress, Peach goes on an exciting adventure on her own. The gimmick of this Princess Peach Showtime! is that her outfits give her different powers. She fences in a French-inspired outfit and has a lasso of rope in hand while she’s a cowgirl. There will be plenty of variety in this Mario spinoff as she’ll also become a detective investigating a crime and a pastry chef trying to make the best dish. She’ll even become a thief! This is one of the March 2024 games we hope lands with critics and audiences alike.

Developer:
 PlayStation

This open-world RPG from the developer of Nioh has intrigued many players around the world. It might keep patient Ghost of Tsushima fans wanting a sequel busy, at least for a month or so. The game features different blades to find, and you can even wield a flamethrower at your behest. The game takes place in Japan in 1863 when the “Black Ships of the West descend upon the nation’s borders and the country falls into a state of turmoil,” says the official PlayStation page. Those who like to make world-altering decisions in games should be happy in Rise of the Ronin as you can “shape the course of history through a rich multi-choice system.”

Release Date: March 8

WWE 2K24 is releasing at a time when wrestling is hot right now. Over 200 wrestlers from the past and present are included in this sports entertainment title. It will also bring an ambulance mode, which has you throwing the opposing wrestler into the back of the vehicle and shutting the doors on them. Casket matches also make a return alongside the ability to become a guest referee. My favorite mode MyGM is also getting new match types, brands, and general managers to keep the strategic action fresh. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a trip to the Smackdown hotel.
