It’ll grow over time
The Valve Index, the newest VR headset on the block, is shipping this week. It’s basically an upgrade on the existing HTC Vive/Vive Pro concept, meant to work in tandem with SteamVR with new “knuckle” controllers.
Naturally those looking to upgrade will want a list of games that are built for the Index, and Valve provided Destructoid with one. Note that the main upgrade here, in the case of select games, is the ability to utilize each individual finger to “grip” items just as you would in real life. Others have been updated to accommodate for the Index’s hardware.
Out of all of these Beat Saber, Superhot VR, and Vacation Simulator are my recommendations. Aperture Hand Labs, a Portal-universe demo of the Index tech, is also fun while it lasts.
