Help us pick a (new) name for the RetroforceGO! spin-off!

This may be the shortest-lived podcast name in the history of podcasts. After announcing Fingerbangcast — an exciting new RetroforceGO! spin-off — on Monday, some non-Destructoid-related drama unfortunately occurred.

While I wanted to make up a wonderfully ironic tale about a wild pack of old ladies seeking me out after being terribly offended by the name, punching me in the face repeatedly like a wrinkly, butterscotch-scented windmill, and tossing me into a mud puddle formed by my own tears, I figured that story would be hard to believe. (I mean, old ladies don’t travel in packs … they travel in COVENS!)

In boring reality, iTunes is what happened. Who would have thought iTunes would not want to support a podcast called Fingerbangcast? It’s so family-friendly!

In hindsight, we should have seen this coming. Fingerbangcast is a little hardcore. We were so excited about naming our new podcast after something absurdly related to RetroforceGO! that we kind of forgot about any possible real-world implications. Oh well, lesson learned. I will just make sure not to name my first-born Finger Bang Concelmo.

So now we have to come up with a new name. And that’s where you guys come in! Throw out some ideas in the comments! All we ask is that it relates to RetroforceGO! in some way, no matter how random. Here are some of the ideas Colette, Stella, and I have already come up with: RipTaylorcast, Amazingcast, EffinDrYangcast, Team Amazing. The (family-friendly) possibilities are endless! We will announce the final name when we record Episode #2!

This is your chance to help name an awesome new podcast that could someday be on a t-shirt. A T-SHIRT!
