Help! I broke my Zelda … then fixed it! (update)

Recommended Videos

Despite what you may have heard, Zelda isn’t as perfectly crafted as you may think. Yes, it contains bugs, just like the rest of ’em. Don’t believe me? Watch this video and see for yourself. Here’s what happened:

After getting my iron boots, I was headed back to the mountain area with my trusty horse. As I went to jump a fence — that you must jump in order to proceed — I was attacked by a flying creature. This attack knocked me off my horse. Bad thing is, my horse kept jumping and went over the fence. And, what’s even worse, I can’t get past or around this fence without my horse. So, here I am, stuck in Zelda purgatory and it looks like I’ll just have to start over again from my last save, which kinda sucks since I was playing for almost an hour before this happened.

I thought this might just be a puzzle I’d have to figure out, but after spending about an hour trying to find ways around with various techniques, I came to the realization that I was stuck.

[Update: I knew our loyal readers would come through. Going back and getting the horse grass to blow, I was able to get the horse back. Thanks guys.]
