It’s not often that I get to post excitedly about an Xbox Live Indie Game, but this trailer for Death Goat has my blood boiling. It’s a top-down shoot-em-up with all manner of horrible monsters from the bowels of Hell, backed by heavy metal music.
I’m still cautious in my optimism. So often, these games can have amazing art like this and wind up falling severely short when it comes to control and accuracy. Of course, we’ll be playing the demo on Saturday Morning Hangover this weekend, so I’ll be able to render a more accurate verdict. Until then, enjoy the trailer which makes it look like wicked fun.
