Helldivers 2 patch 01.000.203 has fixed that incorrect armor passive

There's a lot that still needs fixing though.

Arrowhead Game Studios’ latest patch for Helldivers 2 is here and has not only addressed an issue with a certain armor passive, but it has also fixed various crashes.

Last week, alongside the release of the Democratic Detonation Warbond, Arrowhead admitted that one of the new armor types—the CE-27 Ground Breaker—had the wrong passive attached to it. It was advertised to have the Engineering Kit passive, one of Helldivers 2‘s better armor passives, but instead arrived with the less impressive Servo-Assisted passive.

It fortunately hasn’t taken Arrowhead long to fix this. Patch 01.000.203 has now been issued so, once you download it, your Ground Breaker armor should sport its original Engineering Kit Passive. The patch has also ironed out multiple crashes, including ones that could occur during the loadout screen when players left or joined a game. Plus, the amount of damage dealt to enemies should no longer sometimes be different between the PC and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.

While these fixes are welcomed, Helldivers 2 is unfortunately still plagued by a long list of issues and bugs. You can view the full list of known issues Arrowhead is working on via the Steam update, which includes the Superior Packing Methodology ship module not working properly and delays in Medal and Super Credit payouts.

Judging by the first responses on Reddit, players are certainly appreciative of the fixes, but remain concerned that some bugs that have long been a problem still haven’t been taken care of. Several players, like SmugSkeletor and CommunismBots, are disappointed to see the bug causing damage-over-time effects to only apply to a game’s host continue to plague Helldivers 2. The known issues list also makes no mention of how overly powerful fire damage is, but the studio did recently promise it would address this too.
