The rather badass Heavy Gunner 3D is free today on iTunes as part of the freeappaday.com campaign. Having just downloaded this delicious freebie and given it a go, I can confirm that the game is rad and definitely worth a few bucks. The fact that you won’t even pay that for the rest of the day makes it even better.
In Heavy Gunner, your thumbs take control of two… heavy guns. Using your iPhone’s tilt function to look around, you then shoot incoming enemies before they crash into you. Earning in-game cash allows you to upgrade and purchase new weapons. Simple, but fun. It definitely deserves your time, so please do check it out. We know you’re all a bunch of skinflints anyway.
