Heavenly Sword demo coming to UK PlayStation Network this week

Recommended Videos

We know for sure that the UK version of the PlayStation Network will update on July 26th with a downloadable demo of the upcoming Ninja Theory title Heavenly Sword, but there hasn’t been much in the way of an official word for a North American demo at the same time, although it seems highly likely.

The demo for this high-profile first party game will be heavily scrutinized (go for it, Xbox fanboy!), and that’s probably why it will only last about 10 minutes. The word is that this is the same demo shown at Sony’s Gamer Day, and it will probably only be just enough to give gamers a small taste of the game play, visuals, and controls. Nariko is such a tease!

We’re keeping our ears to the ground for more confirmation on a North American demo. IGN says that “…Heavenly Sword should hit other territories around the same time as Europe, according to Sony.” Any European gamer will tell you that they almost never get preferential treatment, so let’s hope that continues. Sorry for that, guys.
