Harvest Moon-like Stardew Valley is out on February 26

Let’s go live there

It seems like it’s been forever since we last checked in on Stardew Valley, a pixel art farming life simulator/role-playing game that evokes memories of Harvest Moon in those fortunate enough to have played it in its prime (on the Super Nintendo).

Since then, Chucklefish (of Starbound fame) has picked it up as the publisher, and has been teasing bits of gameplay every so often. That teasing ends soon, as Stardew Valley is set to release in just under a month on PC; it is scheduled to release on February 26.

I honestly don’t know if I can get lost in a farming RPG (farmPG?) at this stage in my life. I definitely feel the draw of it, but know I can’t afford to lose as many hours to this as I did with Harvest Moon back in the day. Cursed real life responsibilities keeping me from my pixelated responsibilities.
