Harvest Moon: Gritty Reboot goes back to nature

Gritty reboots are all the rage these days. Recently, we have seen the release of Battleship, Hansel and Gretel, Jack the Giant Slayer, and more. Once Hollywood runs out of comic books, fairy tales, and board games to bastardize, you know it will target beloved childhood videogames. Enter Harvest Moon: Gritty Reboot.

There are some nice touches in the video that pay homage to the admittedly bizarre Harvest Moon universe. From the town’s minuscule population to the mathematically ideal shape of the crop plots, the Gritty Reboot team really did their homework. But of course, the trailer ends with a cliffhanger. To whom will our plucky protagonist offer his blue feather? (I hope it’s Mary.)
