Harmonix releases free-to-play Record Run for iOS devices

Yes, Android is coming as well

Harmonix is hard at work getting its Amplitude Kickstarter off the ground, but there’s still time for other projects to come to fruition. Harmonix and SuperVillain Studios have teamed up to release rhythm-runner Record Run for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch as a free download. I know how you all like Android, so rest assured it’s hitting Google Play and the Amazon Appstore in the near future as well.

You can employ your existing song library to generate levels that require you to slide under and dodge obstacles in this endless runner, and while I haven’t downloaded it just yet, it looks like an interesting little app to spend some time with, especially if you’re a rhythm game fiend like I am.

Download the app here for iOS devices and let us know how it works out for you. In the meantime, can you guess which songs I’ll be using? Whatever you do, don’t tell anyone.
