Hardline is back and this week I spoke with Hamza Aziz, Steven Hansen, and Dale North about the closure of Irrational Games and forming of co-founder Ken Levine’s new, significantly smaller studio; the Doom beta; Harmonix’s musical first-person shooter Chroma; the Twitch Plays Pokémon phenomenon; and The Order: 1886.

And then we started pitching game ideas to one another, including a Metroidvania bowling game and a stealth dancing title. It got real stupid, real fast.
