I know exactly what I’ll be doing this New Year’s Day while trying to shake off my hangover. No, not hoofing up bourbon — I’ll be playing Darksiders.
THQ had Darksiders on display at E3, alongside their super sexy booth babes and such. But their booth was tucked away in the corner of a hall. Of course, that didn’t stop a constant, multi-day drove of journalists from hogging up the booths and game stations. And why wouldn’t they? The game is insanely beautiful, and just watching someone else play it makes you want to jump in. The problem is that no one wanted to stop playing. It’s that good!
We just got word from THQ that Darksiders drops on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2010, on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I feel like this is one of those games that should be very high profile, but will manage to sneak up on gamers and surprise them.
