Halo: Spartan Assault hits Xbox One in late December

Xbox 360 version pushed to January

While the twin-stick shooter Halo: Spartan Assault has locked in a December 24, 2013 release date on Xbox One, the Xbox 360 version won’t be arriving until January 2014.

Folks who buy the original Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 version of the game before December 15 can shave ten dollars off the Xbox One release’s normal $14.99 price tag.

Even at such a reduced rate, I don’t see too many people taking them up on the offer — unless I’m missing something about Spartan Assault. Seems like an okay game, one that I didn’t feel too bad about missing out on prior to these upcoming console ports. Is that a fair assessment?
